In 2011, the Watertown Fire Department responded to 248 calls for service. Our firefighters also conducted many forms of public education training. We assisted community members with CPR courses, fire extinguisher training, and also fire safety classes for children. This year we continued with our lockbox program which allows public safety members to gain entry to your business or residence in the event of an emergency. The department is also preparing to make its way to all of the business in the fire district to coordinate pre fire planning with owners.
